Reiki uses a technique commonly called hands-on healing. Through the use of this technique, practitioners transfer universal energy (i.e., reiki) in the form of qi (pronounced chee) through the palms, which is believed to allow for self-healing and a state of equilibrium. This treatment uses a combination of Therapeutic massage and energy work.
